On October 23, a returning CRE train loaded with boards and barley completed transshipment after entering China at Suifenhe Railway Port and departed for Zhengzhou, Henan province. On the same day, the number of CRE trains passing through the eastern corridor this year exceeded 6,000 for the first time, reaching 6,024, up 40.3 percent year-on-year and setting a record high for the same period.
