Track-Laying Completed Along Entire Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway

　　

       Track-laying was completed along the entire Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway on October 24. The railway is an important part of the Beijing-Kunming corridor of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. Starting at Chongqingxi Railway Station, the line passes through Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan before connecting with Kunmingnan Railway Station. It is approximately 700 kilometers long and has a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
