On July 29, a freight train fully loaded with containers departed smoothly from Xiamen Ocean Gate Container Terminal, marking the official opening of the dedicated railway line at the terminal. This is China's first dedicated sea-rail intermodal line running perpendicular to the shoreline and with direct access to the terminal.
