First Cable-Stayed Bridge Completed on Nantong-
Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo High-Speed Railway

The final closure of the cable-stayed bridge over the Zhangjiagang River was completed on July 29, marking the completion of the first cable-stayed bridge on the Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo High-Speed Railway. Located on the border between Zhangjiagang and Changshu in Jiangsu province, the bridge is 417.7 meters long.
The Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo High-Speed Railway is a key part of the Coastal Corridor in China's national "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network. Once operational, it will further improve the railway network in the Yangtze River Delta and support the region's high-quality integrated development.
