Passenger Volume on Hong Kong Section of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong

 High-Speed Railway Hits Record High in First Half of 2026

　　The Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway recorded more than 16 million passenger trips in the first half of 2026, the highest figure for the same period since the section opened in 2018. Average daily volume of ridership exceeds 92,000 passengers. In April, when the Easter and Qingming Festival holidays coincided, passenger volume reached nearly 150,000 trips in a single day, setting a new daily record since the section opened.
