In the first half of this year, the value of imports and exports transported via the China-Laos Railway reached 17.17 billion yuan, up 33.8 percent year-on-year, as cross-border trade continues to gain momentum. As of June 30, more than 22,000 international freight trains had operated on the China-Laos Railway, carrying 19.353 million tons of import and export goods worth 90.28 billion yuan.
