On July 8, in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, crew members inspected the condition of locomotive couplers in front of a locomotive maintenance depot. In recent days, Xi'an and surrounding areas have experienced persistent high temperatures. To ensure the orderly and safe operation of passenger trains, railway authorities have carried out comprehensive and detailed inspections as well as standardized preparation work for passenger locomotives.
