(Shandong Section) Enters Trial Operation

  On June 10, Train 55301 departed from Liaochengxi Railway Station, marking the official start of the trial operation phase of the Xiong'an-Shangqiu section of the Beijing-Hong Kong High Speed Railway in Shandong province.

  The Xiong'an-Shangqiu section of the Beijing-Hong Kong High Speed Railway starts at Xiong'an Railway Station on the Beijing-Xiong'an Intercity Railway in the north and ends at Shangqiu Railway Station on the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou High Speed Railway in the south, with a main line length of 552 km and a design speed of 350 km/h. It is an important part of the Beijing-Hong Kong (Taiwan) corridor of China's "Eight North-South and Eight East-West" high speed railway network, occupying a significant position in the regional railway network.

  Upon completion and opening, it will further optimize the overall function of the network, greatly facilitate travel for residents along the line, vigorously promote high-quality economic and social development, and is of great significance for the construction of the Xiong'an New Area and the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
