On June 10, a CRE train loaded with commercial equipment, new green chemical materials, industrial kraft paper and other goods departed from the freight yard of Suzhouxi Railway Station. It will exit the country via Pingxiang port in Guangxi and finally arrive at Yên Viên Railway Station in Hanoi, Vietnam, marking the official operation of the Suzhou-ASEAN direct cross-border railway logistics corridor. The train travels approximately 2,800 km and arrives in Hanoi in just five and a half days, improving efficiency by more than 50 percent compared with traditional sea transport.
