On June 8, the Left and Right Line Textile Factory Bridge of the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High Speed Railway was officially completed, marking the completion of all main civil works below the track level for this whole-line key controlling project. The Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High Speed Railway is an important part of the Yangtze River Corridor of the national "Eight North-South and Eight East-West" high-speed railway network. The line starts from Tianfu Railway Station in Chengdu and ends at Wanzhoubei Railway Station in Chongqing, with a main line length of 477 km, a design speed of 350 km/h, and is expected to open to traffic in 2027. Once fully completed, it will open a fast passenger corridor directly connecting Chengdu with the Central Plains and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, further improve the high speed railway network in Sichuan and Chongqing, and support the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and coordinated regional development.
