
At 23:40 on April 27, inspection train No. 55052 slowly departed from Shangqiu Railway Station, marking the official launch of integrated testing and commissioning for the Henan section of Xiong'an-Shangqiu segment of Beijing-Hong Kong High Speed Railway (hereinafter referred to as the Xiong'an-Shangqiu segment).
The Xiong'an-Shangqiu segment is an important component of the Beijing-Hong Kong (Taiwan) Corridor, part of the national "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network. Running through Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, it starts from Xiong'an Railway Station in the north and ends at Shangqiu Railway Station in the south, connecting with the existing Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou High Speed Railway. The main line has a total length of 552 km and a designed speed of 350 km/h, of which the Henan section spans 25 km.
