On March 30, the 17-day spring intensive maintenance program on the Watang-Rizhao Railway—a heavy-haul corridor for transporting coal from Shanxi province—was completed. The work restored the condition of line facilities and equipment and released transport capacity on the heavy-haul corridor, laying a foundation for ensuring thermal coal supply and transportation during the upcoming peak summer electricity demand period.
