On March 21, the first arch rib section of the Hongshuihe Railway Bridge on the Huangtong-Baise Railway, constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group, was successfully lifted. Located at the border of Guizhou province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and spanning the Hongshui River, the bridge has a total length of approximately 1,022 meters with a main span of 570 meters, serving as a critical control project along the entire line.

The Huangtong-Baise Railway has a total length of approximately 315 kilometers, a designed speed of 160 kilometers per hour, and is a national Class I single-track electrified railway. It is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2028. Upon completion, the project will further improve the layout of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and establish a convenient major corridor connecting China's western region to rivers and seas.
