Widespread Snowfall Hits the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region as
CR Carries Out Cold-Weather Protection Operations

On December 12, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region experienced the first widespread snowfall of this winter. To ensure that EMU trains operate properly under low-temperature conditions, CR-Beijing carried out overnight cold-weather protection and heating operations. Working in temperatures as low as minus 5 degrees Celsius, staff activated onboard air-conditioning systems to raise carriage temperatures and prevent onboard equipment and water pipes from freezing, ensuring the safe and punctual departure of EMU trains the following day.
