On the morning of November 17, as test EMU No. 55302 slowly departed from Xi’anbei Railway Station and headed toward Yan’an along the newly built Xi'an-Yan'an High Speed Railway, timetable parameter testing commenced—signifying the full transition of the project from integrated testing and commissioning to trial operations.

Notably, the Xi'an-Yan'an High Speed Railway is the first high-speed railway in northwest China to achieve full 5G public-network coverage upon completion. Addressing the complex loess-plateau terrain, builders adopted innovative combined towers to enhance equipment stability and utilized public-private network leaky cable integration coverage technology to ensure continuous signal transmission across extended tunnel clusters. Current tests show that under the highest test speeds, dedicated network indicators remain normal, with public network coverage exceeding 85%. This will provide passengers with a high-quality travel experience featuring seamless connectivity.
