On October 20, train J80112 departed from the Antang Coal Consolidation Station at the Datong Railway Logistics Center in Shanxi province. After travelling via the Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway to the Jingtang Port area on the Bohai Bay, all 98 rail-mounted 35-ton wide-body open-top containers were shipped directly without transloading, continuing by sea to Qinzhou Port in Guangxi. This marks the successful launch of Shanxi's new "through-container" rail-sea intermodal route, linking the Bohai Bay and Beibu Gulf to the inland southwest.

CR-Taiyuan plans to operate 35-ton wide-body container intermodal trains on a regular basis, delivering containers directly to downstream enterprises. This "one-container-through" service helps customers reduce both logistics and time costs, allowing the achievements of modern railway logistics to better serve economic and social development.
