Starting October 11, CR will implement a new national train timetable, scheduling more than 13,000 passenger trains according to the timetable.
Maximizing the capacity of new lines. On the Shenyang-Changbaishan High Speed Railway, 64 EMU trains are scheduled. Travel times between Beijing and Fushun, Tonghua and Changbaishan have been significantly reduced.
The Xiangyang-Jingmen High Speed Railway, which opened on September 28, schedules up to 26 EMU trains.
On the Chongqing-Xiamen High Speed Railway, the Chongqingdong-Qianjiang section will run 54 EMU trains, connecting western cities such as Chengdu and Chongqing with central and southern cities including Changsha, Nanchang and Shantou.
Fuxing trains expand capacity. On the Hangzhoudong-Changshanan section of the Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Railway and the Beijing-Shenyang section of the Beijing-Harbin High Speed Railway, Fuxing EMU trains will operate regularly at the 350 km/h standard speed, running 46 and 57 benchmark trains respectively, meeting passengers' demand for high-quality travel. Tickets for the new trains are now on sale.
