Shenyang-Baihe Section of the Shenyang-Jiamusi High Speed Railway Officially Opens

　　

　    On September 28, the Shenyang-Baihe section of the Shenyang-Jiamusi High Speed Railway officially commenced operation, with a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour. During the initial operation phase, 64 train services will be scheduled daily, including 36 cross-line trains. The fastest journey from Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station and Shenyangbei Railway Station to Changbaishan Railway Station will take 4 hours 33 minutes and 1 hour 53 minutes respectively.

　　  The Shenyang-Baihe section of the Shenyang-Jiamusi High Speed Railway is a key project under China's 14th Five-Year Plan. Its opening establishes a rapid passenger corridor between Shenyang and Dunhua, further optimizing and expanding the high-speed railway network in Northeast China. The cities of Fushun, Tonghua and Baishan are now connected to the national high-speed railway network, entering the high-speed era. The new line greatly shortens the travel distance between eastern Liaoning and Jilin and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, significantly improving travel convenience for residents along the route. It plays an important role in promoting the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era, supporting the development of tourism resources along the route, and advancing high-quality regional economic and social development.
