On September 6, under the supervision of customs officers from Guangzhou Customs at Guangzhou Railway Station, a CRE train fully loaded with household appliances, clothing and footwear departed from Guangzhou International Port, bound for Istanbul, Turkey. The train is expected to arrive in 20 days, marking the first CRE train service from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to Turkey.

This train carries 50 forty-foot containers and adopts a "rail-sea-rail" multimodal transport model. It exits China via Horgos port, passes through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, and crosses both the Caspian Sea and Black Sea by ship before reaching Istanbul. The journey spans about 10,000 kilometers. This route, part of the southbound corridor of the CRE train and known as the "two-sea" route, is also the first "two-sea" southbound service dispatched from Guangzhou International Port.
