As of September 4, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor rail-sea intermodal trains had transported 1,001,455 TEUs of containers this year, marking a year-on-year increase of 72.5%. Since their official launch in 2017, the service has expanded from a single line between Beibu Gulf Port and Chongqing to a network connecting Beibu Gulf Port with major provinces in western China, establishing a stable "golden logistics corridor" across the southwest region.
