Shenyang-Baihe High Speed Railway Begins Trial Operation

　　

        On September 4, the Shenyang-Baihe High Speed Railway, a key connecting line of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network and an important part of the northeast high-speed rail system, began trial operation according to schedule, in preparation for official opening.

　　  Once in operation, the shortest travel time from Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station and Shenyangbei Railway Station to Changbaishan Railway Station will be reduced to 4 hours 33 minutes and 1 hour 53 minutes respectively, saving 1 hour 23 minutes and 1 hour 31 minutes compared with the current schedule. The line will establish a fast railway passenger corridor between Shenyang and Changbaishan, significantly facilitating travel for passengers along the route and promoting regional economic development.
