Summer Transport Season Concludes

On August 31, the 62-day summer transport season came to a successful close. From July 1 to August 31, CR transported a total of 943 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%. During the same period, CR carried 702 million tons of freight, up 4.8% year on year. Both passenger and freight volumes reached record highs for the summer transport period, with railway operations remaining safe, stable, and orderly.
