Cold Chain Logistics Boosted by High-Speed Rail

　　

　　  Recently, trains G696 and G568 departing from Guangzhounan Railway Station and Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station have been dedicated to the rapid agricultural transport of lychees, reserving four high-speed rail carriages daily. Departing in the morning and arriving by noon, the lychees can reach major surrounding cities within half a day. Compared with traditional land transport, this high speed rail service improves efficiency by more than three times while keeping fresh fruit loss below 5%.
