At 3:55 a.m. on the 21st, the X8155 scheduled timetable CRE train (Xi'an-Duisburg), fully loaded with auto parts, LED display panels and other goods, slowly departed from Xi'anguojigang Railway Station. This milestone marks over 1,000 trips operated by the scheduled timetable CRE train service, a new product jointly launched by China Railway and the railways of countries along the route. The service has gained wide recognition and favour from domestic and international customers for its stable transit times.

A spokesperson from CR's Freight Department explained that the scheduled timetable CRE trains operate according to agreed train numbers, routes, schedules and fixed departure, border-crossing and arrival times both domestically and internationally. This ensures full timetable integration across China, the broad-gauge section and Europe, with the first trip commencing on October 26, 2022.

The scheduled timetable trains have attracted a large volume of high value-added cargo such as photovoltaic panels, solar modules and ship internal combustion engine parts. On average, the cargo value per container is approximately 41% higher than other trains, with a cumulative shipment exceeding 98,000 TEUs.
