Accelared Construction of Dongshan Cross-Sea Bridge on Zhangzhou-Shantou High Speed Railway

　 　

    On June 12, with the final bridge deck panel precisely placed, the Dongshan Cross-Sea Bridge on the Zhangzhou-Shantou High Speed Railway successfully embraced its cantilever closure completion, supported by multiple industry-leading technologies. The same day witnessed the completion of the 285th pier of the Dongshan Cross-Sea Bridge, the first offshore bridge pier on the line. This marks a new phase in the offshore construction of the Zhangzhou-Shantou High Speed Railway and signals that the Dongshan Cross-Sea Bridge construction has entered the "fast lane."

　　The Zhangzhou-Shantou High Speed Railway is a key part of the coastal corridor in China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network. Once completed, it will connect with the Fuzhou-Xiamen-Zhangzhou High Speed Railway and Shantou-Shanwei High Speed Railway, further improving the regional rail network structure, promoting the integration of industrial resources between Guangdong and Fujian provinces, and strengthening connections among the Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Southeast coastal city clusters.
