CRE E-Commerce Express Launched, Goods Reach European Market Smoothly

　　

      On June 18,the CRE freight train, loaded with Greater Bay Area-manufactured e-commerce exports including apparel, small appliances, and kitchenware, inaugurated service from Guangzhou East Multimodal Hub (Zengchengxi Railway Station) in Guangdong province. The train will exit China via the Khorgos border and is expected to arrive in Italy within 13 days. This is Guangzhou's first CRE e-commerce express, marking the official opening of a direct cross-border channel for e-commerce goods from Guangzhou to Europe via CRE trains.

　　The Guangzhou-originated e-commerce express features short transit times and low overall costs, effectively meeting the needs of cross-border e-commerce shipments characterized by small volumes, multiple batches and high time sensitivity. According to reports, goods can now reach Europe in 13 days via this e-commerce express, doubling the speed compared to sea freight while costing only one-fifth of air freight.
