Recently, the steel structure main body of Phase II of the Guangdong Shenzhen Pinghunan Integrated Logistics Hub project—the nation's first railway-covered smart logistics park—was completed, with full completion expected within the year.
At the Pinghunan Integrated Logistics Hub, the ground floor serves as a railway freight yard, featuring four freight tracks and three platforms. The upper floor houses 11 high-standard logistics warehouses. Vertical and horizontal transport functions are realized by four transport ramps and seven transport passages.
Located in Shenzhen's Longgang District, the project is bordered by Danping Expressway to the east, Jihe Expressway to the north, and Shuiguan Expressway to the south, enclosed by the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway. The Pinghu-Yantian Railway and Pinghu-Nantou Railway intersect here with the national railway network. In Shenzhen—where land is scarce and costly—such a site suitable for logistics hub functions is extremely rare.
