On the morning of April 3, a train fully loaded with goods departed from Huhhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is expected to reach Tianjin Xingangbei Railway Station in three days, after which the goods will be shipped by sea to Shantou Port in Guangdong Province. This marks the launch of Inner Mongolia's first rail-sea intermodal transport train under the one-bill coverage system.

"The 'one-bill coverage system' rail-sea intermodal transport saves time and effort, with the entire logistics process coordinated by the railway authority. This can reduce overall logistics costs by approximately 25%," said Zhang Guolong, General Manager of Hohhot Xinchang Railway Warehousing and Transportation Co., Ltd. The transport duration for this train is expected to be 9 days, which is about 3 days shorter than previous transport times.

Since the beginning of this year, CR-Huhhot has precisely aligned with enterprise logistics needs, exploring and developing a "one-bill coverage system" rail-sea intermodal logistics products. It provides tailored transport routes, calculates transport costs, and customises transport plans for businesses, reducing intermediate steps in cargo transportation and continuously improving the full-service logistics chain for railway transport.
