Increased Railway Capacity in the Yangtze River Delta Boosts Tourism in Western Anhui

Recently, on a high speed railway tourist train from Shanghai to Liu'an, hundreds of members of the "Salute to the New Era - Yangtze River Delta Leaps into the Dabie Mountains" tourist group excitedly sang revolutionary songs. After the train arrived in Liu'an, they embarked on a journey of "red + health".

　　The Dabie Mountains in western Anhui not only boast beautiful scenery but also rich revolutionary tourism resources. Since the beginning of spring, tourists from the Yangtze River Delta and surrounding areas have been visiting this area via railway for educational tourism, tracing the revolutionary footsteps of their predecessors. CR-Shanghai has responded to changes in passenger flow in the market by increasing capacity according to station situations. They added 3 pairs of trains at Liu'an Railway Station and opened 1 pair of high speed trains between Jinzhai Railway Station and Hefeinan Railway Station. During weekends at Liu'an Railway Station alone, the highest passenger flow reached 18,000 people.
