On the morning of March 17, a sea-rail intermodal train, loaded with 108 containers carrying black sesame from Myanmar, coconut juice from Hainan, and sugar from Guangxi, departed slowly from the Qinzhou Railway Container Center Station in Guangxi, heading towards Chengxiang Railway Station in Sichuan. This marks the 2000th sea-rail intermodal train of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor's Beibu Gulf Port for this year, with the task of operating trains in the first quarter completed 14 days ahead of schedule.

With the highly integrated coordination of sea-rail intermodal transport, the efficiency of train operations continues to improve, with the scale of logistics expanding continuously. As of March 15, the number of intermodal trains traveling between Chongqing and Guangxi and those operated within Guangxi has both increased by over 20% year-on-year, with increases of 33% and 21% respectively. Five new railway stations have been added, extending services to 149 stations in 71 cities across 18 provinces. With close coordination among various units, the efficiency of loading and unloading operations has accelerated, achieving a normalized reverse operation of 600 TEUs per train for Qinzhou Port container trains, with a record high of 1018 TEUs per train. The loading capacity of Beibu Gulf Port's sea-rail intermodal trains reached a new high of 2060 TEUs in a single day, achieving another breakthrough.

As of March 10, the volume of foreign trade shipments via sea-rail intermodal trains on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor this year reached 20,530 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 36%. Among them, shipments of goods from member countries of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) reached 11,020 TEUs, accounting for 23% of the total, with a year-on-year increase of 35%.
