Shenzhen and Hong Kong Cooperate to Upgrade Cross-boundary Train Services

To better meet the weekend travel needs of residents in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, as well as the public holidays in Hong Kong, starting from March 15, Shenzhen Futian Railway Station will add cross-boundary high speed trains to and from Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station for three consecutive weeks, with nearly 200 additional trips expected. From March 18 onwards, the "Flexible Pass" service of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Railway will expand from Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station to Futian Railway Station to include trips to and from Shenzhenbei Railway Station, providing passengers with more convenient and efficient travel services. Currently, over 180 high speed train services are operating daily between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, with over 200 services on weekends and public holidays, further facilitating the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
CR-Guangzhou has taken multiple measures for its commitment to enhancing the travel experience for passengers. For example, ticket sales counters dedicated to purchasing tickets for Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station are set up in Shenzhenbei Railway Station and Futian Railway Station, with comprehensive guidance services provided throughout the ticket purchase, offering diversified services tailored to the needs of Cantonese passengers, English-speaking passengers, passengers traveling between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and those traveling beyond domestically.
