In recent years, CR has delved deeply into the study and implementation of Xi Jinping thought on eco-civilization, embodying the belief that "green mountains and clear waters are as valuable assets." Through efforts such as strengthening the protection of existing forests, scientifically planting new trees, beautifying railway lines and stations, and constructing new lines with a focus on green and low-carbon principles, as well as locally tailored measures to control desertification, the railway authority has continuously consolidated and expanded its achievements in greening. These efforts contribute to the construction of a beautiful China where humanity and nature coexist harmoniously. By the end of 2023, the total number of shrubs along railway lines had reached 782.52 million holes, and the number of trees reached 165.31 million, resulting in a greening rate of 87.9% for railway lines nationwide.
