According to information from the CR, starting from January 15, the railway authority will optimize ticket change rules, expanding the scope of ticket changes. Passengers can now change tickets for presale period tickets on the day of departure and on the day the train departs, further facilitating passenger ticket purchases and travel.

A spokesperson from the passenger transport department of CR explained that according to the existing rules, train tickets can be changed for any train when there are more than 48 hours before the train departs. For less than 48 hours before departure and after the train has departed, only tickets for trains up to 24 hours before the departure time can be changed. However, with the implementation of the new rules, the scope of ticket changes will be expanded. Passengers can change presale period tickets on the day of departure and on the day the train departs. For changes made more than 48 hours before departure, no change fees will be charged. For changes made less than 48 hours before departure and after the train has departed, no change fees will be charged for tickets with travel dates on or up to the day of the change. For tickets with travel dates after the change date, change fees will be charged based on the time of processing. Passengers can check specific change rules through the railway 12306 website or at railway stations.

The spokesperson pointed out that with the optimization of the train ticket change rules, passengers now have more options for making changes, making adjustments to their itinerary more convenient.
