Chengdu-Zigong-Yibin High Speed Railway Enters Operational Testing Phase

On November 19, a testing Fuxing EMU train passed over the Lin’gang Yangtze River road-rail bridge in Yibin, Sichuan. On the same day, the Chengdu-Zigong-Yibin High Speed Railway entered the operational testing phase. This railway is an essential part of the national “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high speed railway network and a crucial component of the “Beijing-Kunming Passage.” Once completed and operational, it is expected to effectively stimulate economic and social development along the route.
