During this year’s summer travel season, CR fully leveraged the Guiyang-Nanning High Speed Railway, the Yinchuan-Lanzhou High Speed Railway, the Double Track of Chengdu-Kunming Railway, Nanchong section of the Nanning-Pingxiang High speed Railway, and Xingguo-Quanzhou Railway, among other new railway lines, to increase transportation capacity and optimize passenger services. These efforts significantly enhanced regional transportation capabilities, effectively meeting the travel needs of the public.
The Guiyang-Libo section of the Guiyang-Nanning High speed Railway, which commenced operations on August 8th, connects various scenic spots along its route, such as the Longli Grassland, Guiding Golden Sea Snow Mountain, and Libo Xiaoqikong. This has ignited a strong enthusiasm among people for travel. During the summer travel season, the Yinchuan-Lanzhou High Speed Railway witnessed a total of 195,200 passengers at its five stations in Gansu and 1.285 million passengers at eight stations in Ningxia, maintaining consistently high passenger volumes. In Northern China, the Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway and Beijing-Binhai Intercity Railway continuously added train services, with more than 40 daily trains running and an average seat occupancy rate exceeding 85%. In Yunnan, the Mile-Mengzi High Speed Railway extended its reach into tourist areas, leading to rapid growth in railway passenger traffic in places like Mile and Honghe. Throughout the summer travel season, these new railway lines demonstrated their capabilities in attracting passengers, providing the public with broader travel options.
