Lanzhou-Wuwei Section of Lanzhou-Zhangye Double-Track Railway Officially Starts Track-Laying

On May 26, when the track-laying of the Lanzhou-Zhangye Double-Track Railway was officially initiated, tractors laid rails at the construction site of this railway in Tianzhu County, Gansu province.
With a total length of 518 kilometers and a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour, the Lanzhou-Zhangye Double-Track Railway meets with Lanzhou-Urumqi High Speed Railway, Baoji-Lanzhou High Speed Railway, and Yinchuan-Lanzhou High Speed Railway, acting as a significant regional connecting line for high speed railways in China’s mid-term and long-term railway network development program. （Photo by Wang Guanghui）
