At 19:30, December 14, over 900 migrant workers from Zhaotong, Yunnan and surrounding areas boarded K4155/4158 and left Zhaotong for Akasu, for their "gold rush". This is the fourth migrant worker dedicated train heading to Xinjiang operated by Yibin Station Depot of China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd. in this year.

For better transport organization, the railway sector has further optimized the transport procedures. The station and its surrounding areas were disinfected a day in advance, redundant facilities were removed from key areas, the arrangements of station access and waiting hall were streamlined, signs and supporting facilities were added accordingly. With the extra-support of day-off staff, Zhaotong Station has put station entrance, ticket gate, platform and other key links under unified control and management for smooth access and clear guidance. The station strictly follows the requirement for epidemic prevention where QR code for Covid tracking, temperature check and mask wearing were mandatory for fast access and orderly boarding.

"The operation of migrant worker dedicated train to Xinjiang is an important public-benefit initiative of Zhaotong Station." Nie Linquan, secretary of the CPC Zhaotong Station branch said, "Without this dedicated train, passengers have to transfer in Guiyang, Kunming, Xi'an and other places, which not only increases the travel time, but also the costs. The migrant worker dedicated train greatly facilitates their travel and is welcomed among the passengers."
