  As of December 15, China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group Co., Ltd., has achieved a freight delivery of 35.3 million tons in 2021, and the figure is expected to exceed 36 million tons by the end of this year based on a daily delivery of 50,000 tons.

  In 2021, the Group took the initiative to connect with the market, carried out targeted marketing and vigorously implemented the management strategy of “Maintaining affordable passenger services through freight revenue”. With several marketing teams set up in Xining, Golmud, Delingha, Lhasa, etc., the Group focused on the freight source investigation on 18 mass freight contracted clients and small enterprises within its jurisdiction. The Group offers tailor-made transport plans for the enterprises, and provides “convenient delivery acceptance and immediate handling” service to help the enterprises to deliver their goods within the shortest time.

  Since the beginning of this year, the Group has strengthened railway sector - local government communication and railway sector - enterprise strategic cooperation with Qinghai provincial governments at all levels and major enterprises in the province, and carried out in-depth cooperation in international through traffic transport and highway-rail intermodal transport. Since December, it has operated several intermodal trains, sending more than 2,600 tons of daily necessities, foods and other goods and materials.
