Number and Traffic Volume of CHINA RAILWAY Express Trains in First 10 Months Exceeded that of Whole Last Year

From January to October this year, 12,605 CRE trains were operated with 1.216 million Twenty-feet Equivalent Units (TEUs) of goods delivered, with a year-on- year increase of 26% and 33% respectively. Both figures have exceeded those in the whole year of 2020, realizing an increase in number and traffic volume of CRE trains.
In recent years, CRE trains are favored by the international logistics market for their high stability and safety, thus becoming an important strategic corridor for international trade. China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. (CHINA RAILWAY) insists on promoting the high-quality development of CRE trains to encourage the adjustment of transport structure. In October, 1262 CRE trains were operated, including 628 trains, 219 trains and 415 trains for the western, central and eastern corridors respectively.
