Inner Mongolia Railway Enhanced Passing Capacity at Major Corridors to Increase Freight Volume

At 14:11 on August 8, No. 1291 CRE train carrying 100 TEUs of automobile accessories crossed the Chinese border via Erenhot International Port and headed for Mataszewicze, Poland. Up to now, 7,366 CRE trains have crossed the Chinese border through Erenhot International Port. The busy port transport shows the strong impetus of the supply-side structural reform that leads and creates new demands.
Earnestly learning the speech by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, at the ceremony marking the centenary of the CPC on July 1, and putting the guiding principles of the leadership meeting of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. into practice, the Party Committee of China Railway Hohhot Group Co., Ltd., facing the new development stage, has implemented the new development concepts and made efforts to build a new development pattern. It has continued to promote the structural transport reform at the supply side, continuously deepened the "three major measures", vigorously carried out the "four supplements" business strategy, and maintained the increasing trend of passenger and freight transport revenues. By creating new demands with high-quality transport products and taking the bonus of market-oriented operation as the impetus of enterprise development, it has striven to achieve high-quality railway development in Inner Mongolia. In the first 7 months of this year, the freight delivery of China Railway Hohhot Group Co., Ltd. reached 133.684 million tons, exceeding the target by 8.534 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 13.7%.
