Brazil-Chongqing Rail-Sea Intermodal Container Paper Pulp Train Launched

On March 5, an international rail-sea intermodal train loaded with paper pulp departed from Qinzhou Port East Station and arrived at Xiaonanya Station in Chongqing. This is the first Brazil-Chongqing rail-sea intermodal container paper pulp train operated on New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
In view of the recent strong demand for paper pulp in China, China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd. has arranged special personnel to communicate with COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd. and Beibu Gulf Port Qinzhou Terminal Co., Ltd. to master the arrival information of ships in advance. It has given priority to the paper pulp in storage yard allocation, train marshalling, car placing-in and coupling for transport, coordinated with the dispatching office and locomotive maintenance department to increase the 4 shunting locomotives at Qinzhou Port East Station to 5, and opened green channels for the paper pulp in consignment, warehousing, loading and unloading, delivery, so as to ensure the quick loading and transport of the paper pulp and meet the production needs of enterprises.
