Beijing-Zhangjiakou High Speed Railway Energizes Smart Winter Olympics

On March 3, the press conference of the Fourth Session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee was held in Beijing. When introducing the progress of the preparatory work for the Beijing Winter Olympics, the press spokesman of the conference specially mentioned the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High Speed Railway.
As an important infrastructure of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Beijing-Zhangjiakou HSR undertakes the important task of connecting the three competition areas. In the one year countdown to the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the preparatory work has entered a critical period of full sprint. The railway sector has paid close attention to the testing of operation services, technical supports and safety measures, finding deficiencies and correcting defects in time, improving the precise and delicate management and services, and accumulating experiences and making full preparations for safe and efficient operation during the Winter Olympics.
Intelligent Beijing-Zhangjiakou HSR and Winter Olympics trains not only show the technological achievements of China in rail transport, but also show the Chinese wisdom in the Beijing Winter Olympics. As the world's first intelligent HSR with a speed of 350 km/h, Beijing-Zhangjiakou HSR has achieved technological innovation in many aspects, and achieved major breakthroughs in automatic train operation, intelligent dispatching and command, and application of Beidou satellite navigation system.
Beijing-Zhangjiakou HSR running for more than one year has attracted extensive social attention. In this year's Two Sessions, centering on further improving the intelligent level of railway services, members of the CPPCC National Committee will actively make suggestions and strategies to contribute wisdom to the development of China's intelligent railways.
