On January 28, Hangzhou East Station remained orderly on the first day of the Spring Festival travel rush. In front of the eight health code ETC intelligent scanning devices near the station exit, elderly passengers came to swipe their ID cards from time to time to check the health code.

In view of the fact that some elderly people and children can't use smart phones or show their health codes, China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. has put into use the health code ETC intelligent scanning devices at the large passenger stations under its administration, which can show the latest health code information within 5 seconds. This is one of a series of measures taken by China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd to increase allocation of intelligent equipment and provide a warmer travel experience for "offline" people such as the elderly and children.
