This year, facing the impact of the epidemic, the railway sector has conscientiously implemented the central government's decision and deployment on "ensuring stability in employment, financial operations, foreign trade, foreign investment, domestic investment and expectations" and "ensuring security in job, basic living needs, operations of market entities, food and energy security, stable industrial and supply chains, and the normal functioning of primary-level governments", took initiative to adapt to the new development pattern of domestic large circulation and domestic and international dual-circulation, and promoted the high-quality and sustainable development of CHINA RAILWAY Express trains. The CRE trains' operation efficiency and quality are constantly improving, and their operation frequency and traffic volume are steadily increasing, helping to transport anti-epidemic supplies and foreign trade commodities to all parts of the world.
"Digital Port" system improves customs clearance efficiency. Since the beginning of this year, the railway sector has given full play to the advantages of 95306 "Digital Port" system and greatly improved the customs clearance efficiency of CRE trains. As of November 17, the CRE trains crossing the Chinese Border via the Alataw Pass border station this year has reached 4,340, up 41.7% year-on-year, which is the first time that the station sees over 4,000 CRE trains within a year. At present, there are 22 CRE train routes passing through Alataw Pass border station, connecting 62 cities operating CRE trains in China and 59 cities in Europe and Asia. Manzhouli port station and Erenhot port station also achieved their historic breakthrough. So far, the CRE trains crossing the Chinese Border via the Manzhouli port station this year has reached 3,081, exceeding 3,000 within a year for the first time, with a year-on-year growth of 29.5%; the CRE trains crossing the Chinese Border via Erenhot port station has exceeded 2,000 this year, 500 more than last year.
