Track Laying in Full Swing on Mudanjiang-Jiamusi High Speed Railway

At 8:00 on July 20, with the track-laying machine placing the first set of 500m long rail on the track bed at the construction site of Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR in Huanan County, track laying was formally started on the HSR's Jiamusi Section, which marks the whole line of this northernmost alpine HSR in China has entered the track laying stage.
With a total length of 371.6 km and a design speed of 250 km/h, Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR is a key railway construction project specified in China's Mid-and-Long-Term Railway Network Plan and the 13th Five-Year Plan. At present, track laying has been started at Linkou, Mudanjiang and Huanan, Jiamusi in parallel, and 82.4 km of tracks have been laid in Mudanjiang Section.
Upon completion, the Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR will constitute a fast railway ring line in eastern Heilongjiang, together with the Harbin-Mudanjiang HSR and the Harbin-Jiamusi Railway already put into operation.
