Recently, the CRE trains departing from Liaoning have maintained five trips per week, and transported an increasing variety of goods, becoming an important international logistics corridor for economic and trade ties between Liaoning and relevant regions and European countries.
China Railway Shenyang Group gives full play to its geographical advantages, and actively cooperates with Liaoning Port Group to develop rail-sea intermodal transport, and transport the goods from the coastal cities in the southeast of China as well as Japan and Korea to the Yingkou Port and Dalian Port. The goods are then transferred to CRE trains to reach Russia and other European countries and regions through Manzhouli Port.
China Railway Shenyang Group worked together with CRCT Shenyang Branch to reduce the impact of the coronavirus outbreak, and arrange well the sources of goods, containers and trains, plus labors, so as to form the pattern of CRE trains departing from Shenyang, Dalian and Yingkou to more than 20 major European cities including Moscow, Russia, Minsk, Belarus, Warsaw, Poland, and Hamburg, Germany. On February 18, the CRE trains departing from Liaoning resumed normal operation.
The CRE trains in stable operation have attracted a large number of new goods categories and sources. At present, the CRE trains departing from Liaoning transport auto parts, machinery equipment and chemical products produced in Liaoning, and goods transshipped from the south of China through Dalian Port and Yingkou Port.
In terms of the goods source organization for CRE trains returning to China, China Railway Shenyang Group has attracted fixed goods sources including Russian wood panels, and auto parts, machinery equipment and daily necessities from other European countries, so that more CRE trains can be loaded during trips both from and to China.
