Haolebaoji–Ji'an Railway Interconnects with Beijing-Guangzhou Railway in Yueyang, Hunan

  At 17:19 on October 30, after four hours of continuous hard work by nearly 300 staff, the commissioning and interlocking test of communication and signaling equipment in Yueyang North Station reconstruction project were successfully completed, and Phase I of the station reconstruction project was successfully completed, which marks that Haolebaoji–Ji'an Railway and Beijing-Guangzhou Railway are interconnected in Yueyang, Hunan province. The "coal from the north" can be transported southward on Haolebaoji–Ji'an Railway to regions along the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway via the Yueyang North Station connecting line.

  Haolebaoji–Ji'an Railway is a major corridor for the "coal transport from the north to south" in China, with a total length of 1,813.5 km. It is of great significance to improve the national energy transmission structure, accelerate the economic and social development in central China, and win the Blue Sky Protection Campaign.
