The 22nd International Economic Mostar Fair 2019 was held from April 9 to 13 in Mostar BiH. China railway made its debut at the fair. The “Fuxing” bullet train and CHINA RAILWAY Express (CR Express), a name card for China, were displayed on the exhibition, which attracted a large number of audiences and won wide praise.

China, the main guest of honor (partner country) at the fair this year, covered an exhibition area of 2,000m2, the largest in the history of the International Economic Mostar Fair for a partner country. China railway was prominently displayed in the National Image section of China Pavilion, which was particularly eye-catching. The video of "China Railway" was broadcasted on the large screen in the exhibition area, showing China’s dense rail network and running bullet trains. A huge picture of China's rail network was located in the core area of the exhibition area, and the pictures of high speed railways (HSR) such as Beijing-Shanghai HSR, Beijing-Guangzhou HSR, Harbin-Dalian HSRLanzhou-Urumqi HSR, and Hainan’s high speed loop line were presented on the touch screen in turn, reflecting the great achievements of China railway, especially the development of high speed railways, since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and depicting the blueprint for China's railway development. Two models of Fuxing EMU train were placed in a prominent position in the exhibition area with many audience members stopping to take group photos. The high speed train driving simulator, whose operation interface is the same as that of a real car, is located in the center of China's National Image section. It can simulate the driving of EMU on Beijing-Shanghai railway section. The simulation was so real that many audiences were interested in giving it a try. The CR Express and many international railway projects such as Jakarta-Bandung HSR, China-Laos Railway, China-Thailand Railway, and Hungary-Serbia Railway, were illustrated on the exhibition panel, showcasing the important achievements of China railway and its contributions to the Belt and Road Initiative.
