All Tunnels on Chongqing-Kunming High Speed Railway Completed
On June 26, the Zhaotong Tunnel was successfully completed, marking the completion of all 91 tunnels along the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway. The railway spans approximately 700 kilometers and is designed for a speed of 350 km/h. Upon completion and opening, travel time between Kunming and Chongqing will be reduced to approximately 2.5 hours, while travel time between Kunming and Chengdu will be shortened to less than three hours.
