The Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High Speed Railway is one of the key corridors in China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" railway network. The line is approximately 2,100 kilometers long, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Once completed, it will run east to west across six provinces and municipalities along the Yangtze River, playing an important role in building a comprehensive Yangtze River transport system and promoting the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
